Wollastonite belongs to a kind of chain-shaped metasilicate, which is also a kind of fibrous, needle-shaped silicate. Because of its special crystal shape
The crystalline structure determines its properties. Wollastonite has good insulation, high whiteness, good dielectric property and high heat and weather resistance. Wollastonite is widely used in ceramics, chemicals, metallurgy, papermaking, plastics, coatings and other fields.
The chemical molecular formula of silica fume is CaSiO3, and the structural formula is Ca3[Si3O9]. Pure wollastonite is rare in nature, in the process of its formation, Ca is sometimes Fe, Mn, Ti, Sr plasma parts replacement and a kind like body together, and mixed with a small amount of Al and trace K, Na, so it is white, gray, light green, pink, brown, red, yellow and other colors, with white stripes. Due to the difference in temperature, pressure and other conditions during the formation of wollastonite, there may be three kinds of homogeneous polymorphisms:
Tc-type silica fume of triclinal structure, generally called low-temperature triclinal silica fume (CaSiO3);
ZM type subsiliceous gray-stone with single oblique chain structure, commonly known as' -casio3 ';
The pseudo-silica fume of the tridiagonal ternary ring structure is known as pseudo-silica fume 3.
Low temperature triclinal limestone is widely used as industrial mineral raw materials.
